AIB Commences InvestigationAn Air Peace plane, yesterday, overshot the runway at the Port Harcourt International Airport, Omegwa, Rivers State. The plane, with registration number 5N-BRN, from Abuja to Port Harcourt had 94 passengers and six crewmembers on board, all of whom disembarked safely. He said: “Our esteemed passengers on board the flight were calm during the incident and disembarked normally. “Our teams of experts and the authorities are currently reviewing the incident and we will give our cooperation for a thorough exercise. Accident Investigation Bureau has dispatched investigators, who are on their way to the site,” spokesman of the bureau, Tunji Oketunbi stated.
